Debate II leads students to a mastery of advanced argumentation skills. Students will construct and present argumentative positions using scholarly research on complex, controversial issues. Content will include oral advocacy in relation to the legal system and the democratic process. Peer adjudication will be an important part of the advanced Debate courses.
